29th Vision Awards Dinner
Cancelled but support still wanted

See Candice above at our last dinner gathering in 2019 giving her acceptance speech for the academic excellence in reading award.
Our Vision Awards trophy is presented to honorees who made significant impacts at the center. We also present medals to Wooten student achievers.
Our Vision Awards Dinner is cancelled for a third and most likely final year due to the pandemic. Look for updates for May 2023.
Your support is still wanted to help us provide tuition-free afterschool and summer programs for more than 400 students in grades 3-12 per year.
Our Catch the Vision Awards Dinner is a charity event presented annually by our Board of Directors to raise support for our youth center programming.

We closed our youth center buildings at 91st and Western in Los Angeles temporarily in March 2020 due to the pandemic. We reopened in June 2021 with a limited 15 students onsite and fully opened in summer 2022 with 60 students.
Here are some pics from our free afterschool and summer programs for students in grades 3-12.
