QUICK FAQ

Where are students going?

The destination is still TBD. The final Big Trip announcement will be shared with families once confirmed.

How do students qualify?

Students build points throughout the year. 3,825 points is the Top 30 qualifying threshold, with 4,500 as the ultimate goal.

How can families help?

Encourage participation, refer new families, share the fundraiser, and invite your network to support the Big Trip.

Can grades affect Big Trip eligibility?

Yes. Students earning D or F grades may lose their trip spot, even if they have reached 3,825 points. That spot may be offered to another eligible student.

Can behavior affect eligibility?

Yes. Students who receive a serious Parent Report or repeated behavior concerns may be disqualified from the Big Trip.

What happens if a student is suspended or expelled?

A student who is suspended or expelled may be disqualified from participating in the Big Trip, regardless of the number of points earned.

Why doesn’t reaching 3,825 points guarantee a spot?

Students must continue meeting all program expectations. Final eligibility is based on points, academics, behavior, attendance, and overall participation.

When are final trip spots confirmed?

The leaderboard shows current rankings only. Before the trip, the Wooten Center will review each student’s points, grades, behavior, attendance, and standing in the program. Families will be notified once the final participant list is confirmed.
