Patricia Ann Means

(Dec. 15, 1949 to Jan. 8, 2017)

Love and honor to our board member and great friend Pat Means who passed away on Jan. 8 at her daughter's home in San Pedro. Pat was a board member at the Wooten Center from 2013-2016, resigning some two months before her passing for medical reasons. She is well known in Los Angeles as publisher of Turning Point Magazine from 1992 to 2008 and convener of conferences and other meetings and resources for small business owners.

Pat's last position was director of communications and community for AltaSea, a San Pedro research center for marine science. See the photos here of Wooten youth aboard the Nautilus ocean exploration vessel, at Pat's invitation.
